Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

I had a different photo planned for today's post, but Pat is listening to music in the other room and Lou Reed's "Satellite of Love" came on, and I could hear David Bowie warbling in the background. It gave me a pang. I actually took this picture on May 11th of last year at Wax Trax, our favorite record store in Denver. It seems like so much has changed in this world since Mr. Bowie passed away. Too much, too fast. I wonder what he would have had to say about it all.

He left the world with quite a gap in it.
